  See my comment on the delpi2js idea. Delphi could feasibly cross-compile to javascript. Then you wouldn't need a plugin for browser-based development. http://delphi.uservoice.com/forums/4432-general/suggestions/143744-delphi2js

  On a second though I would rather have Embarcadero focus on native compilers and leave the web development as it is - crippled and immature. Lets conquer Windows and Mac in terms of native desktop apps, Open GL, DirectX. Sooner or later desktop and web will be one and the same thing. It would be good to have Delphi as the best native desktop producing tool. Obviously Web 2.0+'s future is NOT into proprietary IDE hands.

  Lets have 100% squeezed from native development first - we still have OS to cover with native apps:

  WinRT
  Android,
  Delphi for iOS (I mean Delphi language from Delphi IDE, not Object Pascal from XCode with Free Pascal integration)
  Linux, UNIX

  Lets make one goof thing at a time instead of 20 mediocre ones.
